Unit 4- Landscape: Small Works #1

This is my small world #. It is a street in a box. The shape of the box is used to accentuate the shape of perception of a street, except backwards because the viewer is looking into the smaller end. It is difficult to make out a specific shape because it is only reflections upon clear vinyl inside. This layout was used to describe the relationship of lights upon a wet commercial street. Lights and sound are what represents a street at night. The fact that the imagery inside is not clear, concentrates the audience on the sound as they look for context. The box is meant to be held and looked into, the way a store window is looked into.  The following images are of the front of the box, the street or garden exercise, planning, and video of the inside of the piece.
